Gilbert Ward Academy is a special school academy which opened in September 2023. At full capacity, it will provide 80 places for children in the age range 11-16 with SEMH and/or Autism.

All pupils at the academy will have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

All places are commissioned by the Local Authority, Northumberland County Council. Please speak with the SEN team for further information.

Please be aware that we do not offer places directly and cannot discuss individual cases.
